Thorcon is recruiting world-class nuclear and industrial partners to join us to realize our vision of launching a first-of-a-kind commercial-scale next-generation nuclear power plant at Kelasa Island, Central Bangka, Indonesia.

Thorcon and our partners intend to own, operate, commission and maintain the Kelasa demonstration plant. We will sell electricity as an Independent Power
Provider to the Indonesian state-owned utility, PLN. As the designer, builder, tester and commissioner of the plant, we feel Thorcon and our partners are best equipped to run and maintain the plant. This includes hiring and training all plant personnel. We intend to maintain a similar partnership approach for all subsequent plant deployments.

The off-taker for the electricity from our 500 MW demonstration plant will be PLN, the state-owned utility which controls the public grid. PLN has indicated substantially more demand once the Kelasa Island plant is commercially licensed. In addition, mining and other industrial and technology companies have approached us to establish direct power purchase agreements once Kelasa is complete.
